In 2008, the mayors of Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose pledged to make the Bay Area the “electric vehicle (EV) capital of the United States.” Join Bob Hayden of the SF Department of the Environment and Damian Breen of BAAQMD to hear our progress in achieving this goal. The discussion will include an overview of the EV-readiness activities and plans in the Bay Area, and EV infrastructure challenges and opportunities in the dense urban setting of San Francisco.
