Last summer the San Francisco Planning Department hit the pavement and conducted a detailed study of Market Street from the perspective of its largest user group: the pedestrian. They counted people walking; studied people in plazas; analyzed the quality of the ground floors of buildings and conducted over 200 surveys of people walking along Market Street. Hear the results of this study and how they will be used to inform the Better Market Street Project. With Neil Hrushowy from the Planning Department.
