Laura Chmielewski

Laura is the VP at Visit San Jose, where she has played a key role in developing and launching the region’s first destination brand and marketing city-owned venues. She has over 15 years of experience in marketing, business development, and communications and has led strategic initiatives to drive economic growth and brand awareness. Laura has held leadership roles at The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel and the City of Chicago as well as consulting through her own firm. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Art History from the University of Illinois
