Rosalynn holds the position of San José's Ex-Officio Board Member.
With a career in urban planning that spans over 30 years, Rosalynn Hughey understands the intersectionality of land use, housing, transportation, economic development, placemaking, and sustainability. She serves as Deputy City Manager for the City of San José and provides leadership for the broad area of Community and Economic Development and strategic coordination for city departments shaping the future of San Jose—including planning, housing, economic development, cultural affairs, and transportation. Rosalynn is responsible for citywide enterprise priorities related to community and economic recovery of COVID-19, the future of Downtown and development of the Diridon Station Area transit hub, and housing production. Rosalynn holds a bachelor’s in urban studies from the University of Maryland, College Park.
