In this DIY workshop, learn how to green your neighborhood's street medians and sidewalks. Join us for an informational session from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on how to organize your neighbors, decide on a site, pick the right plants and navigate the permit process. With Gillian Gillett of the San Jose/Guerrero Neighborhood Coalition, Flora Grubb of Flora Grubb Gardens and Carla Short, an urban forester with the Department of Public Works.
