HOPE SF, San Francisco's program to revitalize eight distressed public housing sites, is the first large-scale effort in the country aimed at both de-concentrating poverty and creating vibrant mixed-income communities without mass displacement of current residents. This panel will explore HOPE SF's coordinated service delivery system and the community building and resident leadership development activities that support the revitalization. With Amy Tharpe, Director of Policy at the Mayor's Office of Housing, and September Jarrett, Deputy Director of the San Francisco Interagency Council.
