San Francisco's new LEED Silver—rated Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, designed by Anshen+Allen and Stantec Architecture, will welcome new residents this fall. The two new residential towers reference the campus's 1920s-era Spanish Revival buildings. To build a sense of community and choice, the 780 beds are organized into households of 15 residents each. A new four-story pavilion building linking the towers features a contrasting composition and material palette, emphasizing its horizontal nature as a campus connector. With Jeff Logan and Sharon Woodworth of Anshen + Allen and Larry Funk of Laguna Honda Hospital.
