California's high-speed rail investment is as important to state's future as the development of the University of California system or the State Water Project. While most of the focus on high-speed rail has been about the alignment, less attention has been paid to land-use planning for this important public investment. Based on international examples, SPUR has written a policy paper exploring the land use and planning response to high speed rail. Join Paul Sedway of Sedway Consulting, Michael Teitz, UC Berkeley Professor Emeritus of City & Regional Planning, Jerry Goldberg of JGA and Egon Terplan, SPUR Regional Planning Director, for this unveiling of their research findings and recommendations.
