SPUR is proud to present at Nerd Nite San Francisco! Nerd Nite is a monthly event where three speakers take to the stage at the Rickshaw Stop to expound on a wide range of nerdy topics, while the audience drinks, laughs, mingles and hopefully learns something new.
This month's speakers include SPUR’s own Public Realm and Urban Design Program Manager Ben Grant, discussing the history of density in cities and related fascinating wonkery in his talk “Urbanism: 1,000 Years of Error, Accident, and Serendipity”. Fon Davis will present “Practical Special Effects: Livin’ Large in Miniature" and Yug Varmaand will present “Worth Its Weight in Gold: A History of Beer”.
Be there and be square!
