Can playing an online game solve the problems of a city’s transportation system? Come listen to Andrew Nash, the managing director of Vienna Transport Systems, speak about GreenCityStreets.com, a prototype Internet application that is helping city residents around the world improve their local public transport systems. The application combines an online game and best practices library, designed to help teach non-professionals about public transport operations, with a social network that allows users to discuss ideas for improving transportation.
