On the heels of a successful $56 million renovation, plans for an expansion to the Moscone Center are under way. Part of a 25-year master plan, the project will be financed by a public-private partnership with a proposed Moscone Expansion District serving as the private portion. The expansion will include additional exhibit and meeting space, as well as upgrades to the streetscape and urban design of the area.
