More than 50 years ago, when California was experiencing massive growth, the environmental movement was just at the beginning of its history. Rebels With a Cause documents the story of citizens and local communities who succeeded in preserving the stunning natural landscape of rural Marin County from urban over-development.

We'll be checking out the model of Marincello at the California Historical Society in advance of the screening to better understand the factors involved.
