A grand public space, the New Presidio Parklands, is currently being designed to connect the heart of the Presidio to the San Francisco Bay waterfront. It will truly create an exciting new experience of the Presidio and the Golden Gate.
At this workshop, the latest in a series of gatherings held at SPUR this year, the team will present the details of the proposed concept design. Noreen Hughes, New Presidio Parklands project manager with the Presidio Trust, will elaborate on the design, with a specific focus on the learning landscape and educational elements for youth and adults. Your input will help shape the schematic design to be unveiled in July, and the final schematic design, which should be complete by year’s end.
