In 2005, Hurricane Katrina ripped through the cities of the Gulf Coast, leaving behind over a hundred billion dollars in property damage, thousands of residents displaced and nearly two thousand dead. As one of the hardest hit cities, New Orleans has spent the last decade rebuilding to create a stronger and smarter city.
