Dramatic changes in the Mission have placed it firmly at the forefront in coverage of San Francisco’s affordability crisis, and the housing bond on this November’s ballot was increased by at least $50 million in order to specifically focus energies on acquiring, preserving and developing affordable housing in that neighborhood.
