Since 2009, Planting Justice has built 400 edible permaculture gardens across the Bay Area, worked with high schools to develop food justice curriculum and created jobs for men and women transitioning out of prison. Join us for a tour of Planting Justice’s newest project — a 2-acre nursery in East Oakland — and a discussion of the organization’s innovative programs that grow food, jobs and community.
