Mind the (Affordable Housing) Gap

Lunchtime Forum

The region’s housing shortage has impacted everyone, and those who rely on affordable housing have been hit the hardest. A new study calculated that the Bay Area’s affordable housing funding gap is estimated, conservatively, to be $1.45 billion a year. That may seem daunting, but it’s not unachievable, and could be closed by major measures set forth and approved by voters or state officials. Join us to learn about what could be done to grow the necessary funding for affordable housing in our region.
