When you put boxes and papers into a recycling bin, where do they end up? Each day, countless tons are delivered to a facility on the Oakland waterfront — imagine your home recycling blue bin but on an industrial scale. Come get an up-close look at how the pioneering facility receives shipments from across California, then sorts, packages and sends the recyclable materials to factories near and far to be transformed into a new industrial feedstock.
