Soaring to New Heights

San Jose International Airport is a major amenity for the city, promoting economic development and ease of travel to and from the South Bay. However, its central location has meant strict height limitations on growth within the flight path. For the past year, the city has researched and analyzed options for increasing downtown development while balancing the growth and operations of the airport. The scenario now proposed will allow for a significant increase in height in downtown and around Diridon Station, clearing a path for the city to realize its housing and commercial goals.
