As the urban core of the city, downtown San Jose has arguably seen more change in the last five years than the last fifty. With newly established districts like SoFA and San Pedro Square providing a multitude of cultural, retail and restaurant opportunities and residential towers sprouting up to drive those uses, the downtown is becoming the urban core of the South Bay. How did it get to this point, and what comes next? Join a fireside chat with two local leaders who are helping to shepherd in the neighborhood’s future. This program is part of Backyard, a three-month public space activation led by The We Company in downtown San Jose.
