Every disaster exposes the fissures in society that existed before the crisis began. The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the deep inequality in the economy and the housing market. At the same time, it presents new opportunities to create a more affordable region.

As SPUR’s recent report outlines, the Bay Area has failed to build sufficient housing over the last two decades with a shortfall of over 699,000 units. Join SPUR and CBRE to review the current state of multifamily housing from CBRE’s 2020 Silicon Valley Multifamily Market Report and discuss how we move forward together as a region.
