This program was originally scheduled for September 24.
A reliance on driving alone has left us with long-lasting inequities and costs that we have accepted as thoroughly as our reliance on driving itself. These costs include traffic and time lost in it, degraded air, poor health, injury, death and a growing equity and climate crisis. But what if people were made aware of the various costs, both visible and invisible, of their driving? How could a new system of transportation pricing enable greater access for more people in a way that makes it cleaner, safer and faster to travel? What positive impacts could local policies have on parking pricing and supply? Come hear about the efforts underway to create a future where many of the costs of transportation, including how and were we park, are realigned to address the critical challenges and existing expenses of what we've allowed to become our status quo.
