Small homes, such as accessory dwelling units (ADUs), can help meet our changing needs while addressing the broader housing challenges across California. ADUs provide expanded options to care for ourselves, our families and our communities by gently adding more homes to existing neighborhoods so everyone can enjoy inclusive, diverse and livable communities. Each month, the Casita Coalition, in partnership with SPUR and a number of groups around the state, will be discussing best practices in ADUs by highlighting some of the innovative approaches that local ADU practitioners have used to navigate state policy and make these homes more accessible. This webinar will shine a spotlight on the innovations happening in San José.
