Join TechSoup and SPUR on May 4th for a live demo-style, in-person pitch event, featuring a panel of four apps that address pressing civic engagement challenges that face our communities. Apps featured help communities with affordable housing, reducing inventory surplus, and streamlining volunteer management. You’ll have the opportunity to witness each app demonstrated by the founder and learn how local nonprofits and community organizations can leverage these tools to create positive change.
Demos:
Civic Champs: Civic Champs helps nonprofits and community organizations maximize their impact by deepening volunteer engagement.
Bloom Housing by Exygy: A modern system that helps people learn about, apply for, and gain access to affordable housing.
Tenant Protections by TechEquity Collaborative: Providing renters in California with high quality information about their rights under both California law and local ordinances.
LiquiDonate: LiquiDonate reduces hunger in communities and fights climate change by receiving excess reclaimable items and redistributing them to organizations in need.
Doors will open at 4 PM and the event will start at 4:30 PM. Following the demo presentations there will be a networking session lasting one hour, during which wine and light food will be provided. The event will close at 6pm.
