The City of San José is developing its Climate Adaptation & Resilience Plan (CARP) with a clear focus on reducing the impact of climate-related threats, such as wildfires, flooding, sea level rise, and extreme heat events, on the community. This plan will identify the foundational measures, policies, and procedures necessary to achieve this goal, enhancing equity by addressing the unique adaptive needs of vulnerable communities that are disproportionately affected by climate change impacts. This workshop is the first public outreach event for the San José CARP. Join us on April 16th to learn more about the project and let us know your thoughts on how to make San José more prepared for climate change hazards.
This event is presented by the City of San José, Climate Smart, and SPUR.
