The San Francisco Planning Department and its many partners—including SPUR—will hold a public open house on April 19th.
The Planning Department is working to amend the city’s Local Coastal Program (LCP), a key step in translating the Ocean Beach Master Plan into formal city policy. The amendment will add LCP policies addressing shoreline erosion, coastal flooding, and sea level rise along the City’s western shoreline.
The amendment will provide for long-term resiliency by balancing environmental resources, maintaining coastal access, addressing community needs, and protecting our investment in public infrastructure. Join us for this opportunity to learn more about the project and process as we move forward.
Representatives from a host of federal, state, and local agencies will be in attendance to answer your questions and hear your comments, suggestions and concerns.
