While SPUR supports San José's elimination of parking minimum requirements and a new Transportation Demand Management program structure, we advocate for enhanced policies that will support the city's vital Al Fresco initiative. We believe that the City can take the lead by working to develop improved policy solutions in making this a permanent program. Outdoor dining and uses should be a focus of the city's public life strategy while being an important driver of business and economic recovery.
