The Envision San José 2040 General Plan Task Force will meet on Thursday, July 30 and take up again the topic of Opportunity Housing, a policy that would allow up to four units on properties with a Residential Neighborhood land use designation. SPUR is calling on the Task Force to be bold and recommend adoption of the Opportunity Housing policy citywide by-right in order to allow gentle density building types that can create greater housing affordability by design and without public subsidy.
