Lunchtime Forum

The Fisherman's Wharf Public Realm Plan presents a vision for a rejuvenated Wharf where pedestrians and cyclists will have the space to leisurely enjoy the numerous restaurants, shops, historic attractions and views of the Bay. Jefferson Street, the heart of the Wharf, will be redesigned as a pedestrian-priority street with wide spaces to walk, varied seating, outdoor cafes and restaurants, public art and attractive paving. Cyclists will able to travel in both directions, while cars will be allowed on at least some segments, but will have to proceed at slow speeds. Come hear the latest on how the City plans to implement the design and share your thoughts on how to make Fisherman's Wharf a destination for all San Franciscans. With Neil Hrushowy and David Alumbaugh from the San Francisco Planning Department, and Kevin Carroll of the Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District.
